I have developed the concept of this blog during my Graduate Diploma in IT program at Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology (NMIT). The motivation behind this blog is that I want to keep records of my learning throughout my educational journey at NMIT. Moreover, I think it would be an amazing platform to share my knowledge with others who are working in the same IT field.

The below lists of courses that I have  completed during my program:

NET501 Networking Fundamentals

INF755 Project Management

I have completed projects on Virtualization and Cloud Environment. For implementing Virtualization project,  I have used VMware vSphere. For the cloud-based project, I have used Microsoft Azure and AWS services.

The tools and resources that I have used for installation and configuration my virtual environments are:

1.      VMware vSphere 5.5 web client

2.      VMware Vsphere vCenter Sever

3.      EXSi host 5.5 hypervisor

4.      NetApp Storage System Vim (Simulator)

The Server machines and routers are:

  1. Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 (Datacenter version)
  2. Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 (Core Server version)
  3. Windows 8.1 client
  4. Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 (64 bits)
  5. VYOS router, Sophos UTM firewall

Application and software’s are:

  1. Active Directory and Domain Controller
  2. Group Policy Object(GPO)
  3. File Server
  4. Windows Server Update Services (WSUS)
  5. Microsoft Exchange Server 2013 /2016
  6. The DUDE Performance Monitoring
  7. Office 365, Outlook
  8. Remote Server Administration Tools (RSAT)
  9. Distributed File System (DFS)
  10. Windows Firewall with Advanced Security including IPsec

The cloud Platforms  that I have used to implement my projects are:

  1. Microsoft Azure: Cloud Computing Platform & Services
  2. AWS services
